Join us as a SaaS Licensing Manager (SaaS Specialist) (m/f/d) in our Digital Workplace team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

We are seeking a dedicated IT Licensing Manager to oversee and optimize our rapidly growing SaaS portfolio. With approximately 300 SaaS solutions in active use, ranging from enterprise platforms to lightweight productivity tools, this role will be the central point of contact for managing our software licensing lifecycle. You will ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and smooth access to the tools our teams need to succeed in a fast‑changing SaaS and AI environment.

What you will do
  • License Lifecycle Management – Own and manage the SaaS license inventory, from the purchase request evaluation to renewal and retirement.
  • Optimization & Cost Control – Identify opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate tools, and improve utilization.
  • Vendor & Contract Management – Work closely with vendors and the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms and track renewal dates.
  • Compliance Oversight – Ensure all SaaS usage complies with contractual terms, data protection regulations, and internal policies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with the Software Asset Management Board, Finance, Procurement and other central stakeholders to balance flexibility with cost discipline.
  • Process Improvement – Introduce best practices and automation for license tracking, reporting, and approvals.
  • Market Awareness – Stay informed about emerging SaaS and AI tools, licensing trends, and potential risks.
What will help you to fulfill your role
  • Language Skills: Native or near‑native German; English at a working professional level.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in SaaS licensing, software asset management, or a similar role.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with SaaS procurement, subscription models, and license compliance frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret usage data, identify trends, and recommend optimizations.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with IT, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Proficiency with license management or IT asset management platforms is a plus.
