Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • ~3 years' experience working as a hardware engineer in a robotics company, preferably with autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) or similar robotic systems, or proven experience designing and developing hardware for robotic systems or similar complex electronic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in reading and creating EPLANs (Electric P8) for comprehensive documentation and design schematics.
  • Preferably, you are familiar with hardware safety standards such as ISO 60204, ISO 12100, ISO 3691-4, and ISO 13849-1 as well as the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in hardware robotics foundations, including:
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS) for efficient power distribution and management;
  • Motors and drive systems, with expertise in selecting, integrating, and optimizing motor control solutions;
  • Vision sensors such as Lidars and cameras, with a focus on integration for perception and navigation systems;
  • Control systems design and implementation, ensuring precise and efficient robotic movements;
  • Understanding of communication protocols commonly used in robotic systems.
