ABOUT THIS POSITION

YOUR TASKS
  • Customer-Centric Robotic Inspection Solutions: Collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize cutting-edge intelligent robotic autonomy solutions. Ensure these solutions effectively meet real-world customer needs and are deployed in challenging conditions.
  • Platform Integration & Migration: Play a key role in migrating mobile robot platforms and payloads into our ecosystem and integrating new technologies, thereby expanding our capabilities.
  • Robots in the Field: Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of advanced algorithms for a fleet of autonomous mobile robots operating in real-world scenarios, leveraging modern AI techniques and robot simulation tools.
  • Software Development & CI/CD: Develop, maintain, and improve robotic autonomy software, integrating with modern CI/CD pipelines to enhance robustness, performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Cloud-Based Tools: Participate in creating and refining tools for remote robot operation, monitoring, and data acquisition on customer sites.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Educational Background: Strong background in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, or related fields; master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Algorithmic & Programming Skills: Solid understanding of algorithms, programming skills in C++, Python, and experience with robotic system integration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ROS1/ROS2, Ubuntu/Linux, simulation environments, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Professional Experience: Over two years of experience, preferably with practical field applications of robots.
  • Passion for Robotics: Genuine enthusiasm for software-driven robotic systems and real-world applications.
  • Adaptability & Learning: Ability to quickly learn and contribute across diverse technical areas including AI, simulation, and cloud applications.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach.

HELPFUL ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks in robotics and simulation.
  • Experience with robotic software integration on mobile platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud robotics and remote control interfaces.
  • Knowledge of video streaming tech (GStreamer, RTSP, Kurento, Livekit) and cloud backends (GraphQL).
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab.
  • Willingness to attend onsite events every 6 weeks for 3 days.
