Your tasks
Are you a skilled Research Technician (m/f/d) with experience in protein purification? Do you thrive in a collaborative, cutting-edge scientific environment? Great! Because we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dynamic research setting focused on native protein purification from human sources.

Responsibilities
  • You perform protein purification using techniques such as affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography.
  • You prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, buffers and equipment for experiments.
  • You troubleshoot and optimize purification protocols to achieve high-quality, high-yield protein isolation.
  • You analyze protein purity and concentration using SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and spectrophotometric methods.
  • You maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and prepare reports.
  • You assist in designing and executing experiments in collaboration with senior researchers and project leads.
  • You ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines in the laboratory.
Your profile
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • You have proven experience in protein purification techniques (e.g., affinity chromatography, FPLC, HPLC).
  • You are familiar with protein analysis methods such as SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and mass spectrometry.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You are able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain meticulous records.
  • Previous experience in a research laboratory setting is preferred.
  • You speak fluent English and German.
