The research aims to improve the understanding of the local electrocatalytically active regions that develop on the surface of multi‑metal based materials when exposed to an electrolyte or when current/potential is applied. Understanding how different local anodes and cathodes develop on the surface of compositionally‑complex surfaces is important for electrocatalytically driven processes.
