Were now looking for a QA Engineer who ensures that every release meets our high standards for reliability, usability and scalability and who wants to help us build a QA culture from the ground up.

Tasks

Youll take ownership of our test strategy, automate where it makes sense and make sure our users experience a rock-solid platform.

• Design & execute test strategies. Define and implement QA processes, test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Automate smartly. Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API and regression tests) using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers. Work hand-in-hand with engineers to catch bugs early, improve code quality and streamline releases.
• Ensure reliability across environments. Validate integrations, monitor builds and guarantee stability across browsers and devices.
• Shape the QA foundation. Help establish Pactos QA standards and best practices to make product reliability measurable and actionable.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in QA or software testing (manual and / or automated)
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Jest or similar)
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger, REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Solid understanding of modern web apps (React, etc.)
• Detail-oriented, structured and proactive. You take ownership of quality.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
