An innovative space technology company is looking for a Project Manager for Optical Payload Studies in Munich. The ideal candidate will ensure successful execution of optical systems for space applications. Responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team, managing risks, and handling project KPIs. A PhD in Physics or equivalent experience is required, along with strong stakeholder management skills and fluency in English and German. In this position you are a part of OHB’s optical payload concept office that is responsible for the concept definition of optical systems for space applications. In your role, you ensure the successful programmatic execution of the concept phases for optical payloads (ITT’s, AB1) and support the office’s activities to create and maintain a programmatic project framework ensuring customer satisfaction in line with key company strategies.
