The Base Operations Support Services program at USAG Stuttgart delivers comprehensive management, maintenance, and operational support across multiple military barracks/locations simultaneously in the Stuttgart area, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality environments for service members, civilians, and their families. With a dedicated team operating from Houston, Texas and Stuttgart, Germany, the US Army base operations program is recognized for its adherence to US Army Public Works standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, supporting mission‑critical objectives for major commands such as EUCOM and AFRICOM. The Project Manager (PM) oversees the daily operations and performance of the Base Operations contract, ensuring all work meets the standards and requirements outlined in the PWS. The PM acts as the primary point of contact for all contract matters, maintaining effective communication with government representatives and leading the contractor team to deliver high‑quality, timely services. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a 120+ workforce simultaneously at multiple locations under the contract and handle resources and deliverables. The PM is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable German and US Army laws, regulations, and directives, while fostering a safe, reliable, and hospitable working environment. The PM must be available on‑site during standard hours and accessible 24/7 for urgent matters.
