A leading global engineering company in Düsseldorf seeks a Program Manager for its AI Hub. In this role, you orchestrate the GEA AHEAD program, driving digital transformation through Data and AI solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation while fostering a performance-driven culture. Ideal candidates should have 5 years of experience in managing complex projects and a strong understanding of Data and AI technologies.
GEA AHEAD stands for AI for Human Empowerment Automation & Digitalization and is GEAs global transformation program for leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all units. The workstream Specialized AI focus on data and AI solutions for internal applications along the value stream of an engineering company to enable exceptional performance in areas such as engineering production sales and service as well as in finance and legal as central functions.
In this dual role you join GEAs newly founded AI Hub. As Program Manager you orchestrate the overall GEA AHEAD program in close collaboration with two other workstream managers responsible for general-purpose AI and for external AI adoption.
As Workstream Lead Specialized AI you work with cross-functional teams in our global organization. You identify and prioritize Data and AI use cases drive make or buy decisions based on tech scouting and ensure successful implementation and operation of the Data and AI solutions. By ensuring scalable technical implementations as well as the organizational change management you will drive business impact. To achieve this you work as tandem with the AI Fellow a role in the business function as subject-matter expert and change manager.
You will leverage your strong organizational and project management skills enabling Data and AI experts to focus on delivering high-quality solutions. You must steer technical capacity and select the right sources for implementation.
As an advocate for the AI Hubs strategic objectives and vision you will foster a Data and AI driven performance culture within GEA.
5 years of experience in managing complex digital transformation programs.
Strong understanding of Data and AI technologies and their industrial applications.
Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Fluent business English and willingness for travel mostly in Europe 20%
A key role in a strategic enterprise program with exposure to GEAs top management
