The German site Bertin GmbH, based in Frankfurt a.m. for 40 years, specializes in the development, production and maintenance of measuring devices for ionizing radiation. Our products for radioactivity measurement networks, radon measurement devices and other radiation measurement technology are used worldwide by industry, research, and authorities, among others.

Mission

For our production department at the Frankfurt site, we are looking for our new:

Full-time position, permanent contract

• Monitoring, organization and optimization of all production processes.
• Responsibility for achieving quality, productivity, and delivery capability targets.
• Maintaining and editing the production modules in the ERP system.
• Monitoring department-relevant key figures and deriving measures.
• Ensuring communication and co-operation with other departments.
• Introducing new products into the production department (transfer of R&D department to production department).
• Maintaining production documentation, including creating new documents and updating existing ones.

In your role, you will report to the Production Manager and work closely with him/her.

Profile

You have completed an engineering degree, e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, production engineering, industrial engineering, etc. Also, you have several years of professional experience in a production-related environment in industry is desirable.

You have some experience with the common MS Office applications, ERP systems and CAD programs.

You are fluent in written and spoken English and German.

You enjoy solving problems and achieving sustainable results.

You know how to plan and have organizational skills as well as analytical thinking. You are independent, efficient, and have a structured way of working. You are reliable and you know how to work under pressure.

You have a high level of commitment, sense of responsibility and a strong ability to work in a team.
