The gross annual salary is between €40,500 and a maximum of €42,600, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU.
Job description
Tasks
- Surface preparation – cleaning, degreasing, sanding and covering the workpieces to ensure optimum adhesion of the coatings
- Application of various coating processes – carrying out painting work, applying adhesives, preservative waxes and sealants
- Synchronous coating processes – use of special techniques for uniform coating of surfaces
- Applying technical signage and decorations – applying lines, auxiliary foils and other markings in accordance with technical specifications
- Quality control – monitoring and testing coated surfaces for compliance with quality standards
- Maintenance and care of equipment – to ensure smooth operations
- Documentation of work processes – recording and logging the work carried out and materials used
- Compliance with safety and environmental regulations – to protect health and the environment during the coating process
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a vehicle painter, galvanizer, surface coater or process mechanic for coating technology
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally as a painter
- Required pre-qualifications according to aviation standards desirable, including:
- Package 3.1: Sealing of Aircraft Structures; Dent, Scratch, Rivet Insertion; Quality Fundamentals for Production; FOD Initial Training
- Package 4: Drawing System (from April 2024 additionally Corrosion Basics)
- Package 8. 2: Fundamentals of Surface Protection
- Package 9: Basic Inspection Principles
- Good knowledge of German (at least B2 level), knowledge of English an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts in a 3-shift system as well as weekends and overtime
- Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
