This is a rare opportunity to shape a high-priority, strategic initiative within Celonis. As part of the System Transformation / Enterprise Modernisation team, you will help global enterprises across DACH / EMEA navigate complex system migrations (e.g., to SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems) by harnessing the Celonis platform. The Role

Principal Systems Transformation Specialist

You will support the sales team in positioning Celonis for systems migrations and drive successful system transformations for our most strategic customers. You will also lead the development of methodologies and enablement programs for our field teams to support the rest of the customers. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in system transformation projects, strong advisory and customer support skills throughout the end-to-end implementation journey, and a passion for building frameworks and knowledge-sharing programs to drive field team success.

The Work you’ll do

Sales Support & Thought Leadership:

• Partner with the sales team to position Celonis as a strategic enabler for system transformation, focusing on ERP migrations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Act as a subject matter expert to help customers and partners understand the value of Celonis in migration journeys.
• Provide thought leadership by identifying emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in system transformation and process mining.

Advisory and Customer Journey Management:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the Celonis implementation and ERP migration journey.
• Provide expert advisory on process optimization, process mining, and transformation strategy before, during, and after Celonis implementation.
• Manage and support customers through all phases of system transformation to ensure a seamless migration experience.

Collaboration with Global System Integrators (GSI):

• Collaborate with the field team, GSIs, and customers to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Align sales, delivery, and GSIs by providing the same tools, processes, and knowledge to drive transformations.
• Establish strong partnerships with GSIs for coordinated efforts and standards in delivering complex projects.

Methodology Development & Standardization:

• Design and implement a methodology for integrating Celonis into ERP migration projects.
• Establish best practices and standards for system transformation and process mining engagements.
• Create repeatable processes and templates to ensure consistency and scalability across field teams.

Field Team Enablement & Knowledge Transfer:

• Create and deliver training and enablement programs to equip field teams with knowledge and tools for ERP migrations using Celonis.
• Develop educational content, including playbooks and process documentation, to support learning for field and partner teams.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to accelerate field team expertise in system transformation and process optimization.

The Qualifications you need

• 10+ years of experience in system transformation (e.g., a SAP enterprise architect or SAP transformation lead)
• Track record in SAP S/4HANA migration or other ERP systems, with a focus on methodology development and enablement
• Familiar with SAP transformation support tools (e.g., Signavio, LeanIX, WalkMe, SolMan, Tricentis, CloudALM)
• Proven experience guiding customers through complex end-to-end system transformations
• Strong advisory, customer relationship, and consultative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, translating technical solutions into business value
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across sales, technical, and partner organizations
• Proven experience developing and standardizing processes and methodologies for large-scale transformations
• Experience creating and delivering enablement programs, including training materials and workshops
• Business proficiency in German and English

Travel: This role requires travel to support customers and work with field teams in the DACH region and occasionally elsewhere in EMEA.
