Shape the Future of Software Architecture in a Fast-Paced, Tech-Driven Environment

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Principal Software Architect (all genders) to drive the evolution of our SAP landscape. In this pivotal role, you will bridge technology and business, ensuring scalable, integrated, and future‑proof architecture across key domains. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams to align technical excellence with business needs, playing a critical role in both strategic decisions and hands‑on implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end SAP architecture across core domains : order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, retail, and finance & controlling, including integration architecture.
• Serve as the strategic interface between SAP (S / 4HANA, SuccessFactors) and non‑SAP units (e.g., Webshop, Logistics, Supply), supporting both technical and business stakeholders.
• Represent SAP in the Architecture team, contributing to company‑wide strategic decisions.
• Lead solution design efforts, ensuring cohesive process and technical alignment across domains.
• Define and enforce architectural guardrails and best practices, adhering to principles like Clean Core.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, functional SAP teams, and external tech units to ensure integration, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Degree in (business) informatics, computer science, or related STEM field, with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong background in hybrid / distributed SAP architecture (on‑premise and cloud).
• Deep knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA and related solutions such as Ariba and SuccessFactors.
• Solid expertise in SAP BTP and modern SAP technology architecture.
• Experience in domain architecture with focus on master data, procure‑to‑pay, and order‑to‑cash.
• Excellent understanding of integration architecture, including event‑driven models (e.g., Apache Kafka) and common enterprise patterns.
