Jobbeschreibung
Overview

full time , 38,5 hours per week, limited to 5 years

Dr. Shiv K. Singh's laboratory is seeking a highly qualified Senior Research Associate to join our collaborative team investigating the interaction between macrophages, T cells, and tumor cells in the tumor microenvironment, with a focus on pancreatic cancer under chemo naïve and (neo)-adjuvant therapy settings.

The successful candidate will employ a wide range of functional approaches to analyze immune cell properties in animal models and patient specimens following chemo-immunotherapy and radiotherapy. This work aims to translate findings for diagnostic purposes, including biomarker identification, by analyzing samples from patients with human pancreatic cancer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Isolation, differentiation, and design of iPS-derived immune cells

  • Tumor-immune co-culture systems, phagocytosis assays, and T cell killing assays

  • Advanced cell culture, Incucyte live-cell imaging, multicolor flow cytometry, cell sorting, immune fluorescence, ELISA, and related immunological methods

  • Accurate data recording, documentation using Dotmatics, and maintaining organized experimental records

  • Development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for reproducibility and compliance

  • Presentation of findings at national/international meetings and preparation of manuscripts

  • Supervision and training of graduate students, technicians, and lab members

Your qualifications

  • PhD in tumor biology (required)

  • Substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • Proficiency in multicolor flow cytometry, cell sorting, molecular and cellular biology techniques

  • Hands-on expertise with iPS-derived immune models (preferred)

  • Experience with Incucyte live-cell imaging, Dotmatics documentation platforms, and SOP writing (highly desirable)

We offer

  • a dynamic and collaborative research environment within an international and interdisciplinary team

  • exposure to a comprehensive range of molecular and cell biology techniques

  • Opportunities to contribute to clinical-translational research studies
