A leading research institution in Germany is seeking highly motivated PhD candidates for interdisciplinary research in genome science. Programs are offered in collaboration with the University of Göttingen and University Medical Center. Candidates should hold an outstanding Master's degree in relevant fields and possess a strong interest in interdisciplinary research. The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Genome Science and the Research Training Group GönomiX are jointly seeking highly motivated PhD candidates. These programs, a collaboration between the University of Göttingen, University Medical Center, and the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Science, offer interdisciplinary research opportunities at the forefront of genome science. The position is limited to three years with a possibility of extension.
Candidates should hold an outstanding Master’s (or equivalent) degree in experimental life sciences, computational/mathematical/biophysical sciences, or a related field. We seek individuals with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, demonstrated academic excellence, creativity, motivation, teamwork skills, and proficiency in English.
