• You will gain in-depth insights into the field of passive safety with a focus on method development in crash simulations and crash tests.
• You will work on exciting topics in the field of modeling and simulation of damage, failure, and geometric discontinuities in the context of trimmed IGA solids.
• You will deal with robust and efficient modeling and simulation workflows for thin-walled structures with trimmed IGA solids.
• You will also support our team, actively help shaping our process and method development, and manage your work packages independently.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in mechanical engineering, mathematics, computational mechanics, or a comparable field of study.
• Knowledge of programming languages (preferably Fortran and Python).
• Knowledge of FE methods and LS‑DYNA is desirable.
• Business fluent German and English skills.
