This role is designed as Onsite with an expectation to primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description

Job Family Definition: Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans and processes to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives or initiatives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop processes and business plans supporting data-driven models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, tracking activities, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures business activities are aligned with plans among stakeholders. Sets metrics, evaluates results, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement and new processes or ideas to achieve desired outcomes.

Management Level Definition: Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge. Contributes to innovative principles and ideas. Operates in complex cross-functional tasks to achieve optimal results. Provides innovative solutions, ownership mentality, and results orientation. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects, may participate in cross-division teams, and provides mentoring to lower level employees. Develops strategy, programs and processes, and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities
  • Develops recommendations from complex data and analyses and formulates them into business processes.
  • Operationalize and create new processes to embed OpsRamp into HPE products.
  • Establishes metrics required to measure performance and outcomes.
  • Manages activities & programs cross-functionally and achieves results.
  • Influences and works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.
  • Drives all aspects of priority projects and makes final team decisions.
  • Understands the business and can see the bigger picture.
  • Develops and drives comprehensive plans with timelines and results.
  • Holds oneself and others accountable for actions and results.
Education and Experience Required
  • 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for challenging business issues.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights.
  • Extensive understanding of customer lifecycle & GTM.
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time-sensitive projects or work streams.
  • Ability to identify and minimize gaps within current processes and operationalize cross-functional activities.
  • GTM and customer lifecycle experience is a plus.
