About the Role

The Level 1 Operations Excellence Engineer is an entry‑level contributor with hands‑on coding experience. This role focuses on supporting operational improvements, resolving major technical issues, and developing automation solutions to enhance team efficiency. Working under guidance, the engineer collaborates with internal teams to implement small‑scale improvements aligned with department goals.

As an Operations Excellence Engineer 1, you will:
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational issues.
  • Assist in developing and deploying automation tools to improve workflows.
  • Document operational processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate with GTS2 stakeholders (Support, S2, Onboarding) for small‑scale process improvements.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and testing for new tools or enhancements.
  • Provide support for customer cases, escalating as necessary.
We are looking for someone who has most of the following:
  • Foundational troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • 1–2 years of coding experience in Python or PowerShell (mandatory).
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (networking, Active Directory, security tools).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk) and task management tools (Jira).
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 0–2 years in technical operations or process improvement roles (plus coding experience as above).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical experience.
