The role of Operations Coordinator at BTS

This is a junior role within the organisation, well suited to someone looking to progress in a professional service setting.

In this role you will:

  • Initially partner with more experienced colleagues to understand the role, how we work with clients and our systems.
  • Then you will be allocated to work with your own internal account teams, providing logistical and administrative support to coordinate and deploy our programmes to regional and global clients.
  • As you learn and develop, you will take on more complex and involved programmes of work, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure each client project is run successfully.
  • You will also play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Cologne office. This includes helping to coordinate office operations, managing logistics for materials used in client deliveries, and supporting IT and facilities setup both locally and across Europe. You will help ensure the workspace remains well-equipped, professional, and welcoming contributing to a smooth and positive experience for both colleagues and clients.

Language Requirements: Fluency in both English and German is essential, with excellent written and spoken communication skills (C1/C2 level in both languages).

Position Type:

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Based: The role will be primarily based in our Cologne office. We work a hybrid model with a minimum 60% of time based in the office (3 days for a full time employee). The role may also potentially involve travel to enable involvement with client deliveries.

Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role so you will need to have the right to live and work in Germany. You will also be asked to work from the Cologne office so should live within a reasonable commuting distance or be prepared to move prior to commencing in the
