• 3-5 years of programming experience, preferably including PL / SQL, Oracle, Java, and Python.
• Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments.
• Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2).

Your key responsibilities :

• Customize and configure MES software solutions for production environments.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support integration with databases and production systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide user training and documentation.

Qualifications that inspire us

• Completed IHK Ausbildung or Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields
• Solid knowledge of databases and strong programming skills (demonstrated through university, private projects, or student jobs)
• 3-5 years of programming experience, preferably including PL / SQL, Oracle, Java, and Python
• Experience with MES software and practical understanding of production environments
• Comfortable communicating in English (B2) and German (B2)
• Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a plus
• Industry knowledge in process industries
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%
• Based in NRW or open to relocation
• Available for at least 32 hours / week, full-time preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics clearly
• A plus is always nice
• French language skills, to support clients or teams in Francophone regions.
• A valid driver's license, helpful for onsite visits in various locations.
• Industry knowledge in steel or aluminum production, enabling you to engage with clients in these sectors with greater insight.
