Requirements

For your new role as a career changer in engine overhaul, you should meet the following requirements:

  • (Promptly) completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, e.g. aircraft mechanic, car mechanic, car mechatronics technician, plant mechanic, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, plumber, locksmith, construction mechanic, toolmaker, metalworker, etc.
  • or a (recently) completed vocational training in another skilled trade, e.g. woodworking, medical technology, etc.
  • Recognition in accordance with European Qualifications Framework Level 4 or IHK‑FOSA certificate
  • Advanced knowledge of German, knowledge of English desirable or willingness to acquire it
  • Willingness to work in shifts (various shift models with bonuses)
