Wir schaffen Chemie! Basierend auf modernen analytischen Methoden und Syntheseverfahren entwerfen und entwickeln wir eine Vielzahl von chemischen Assay-Komponenten für Dia und Pharma. Mit unserem Fachwissen und unserem breiten Methodenspektrum begleiten wir auch den gesamten Lebenszyklus von aktiven diagnostischen Wirkstoffen. Wir bieten ein vollständiges Spektrum chemischer Technologien, von kleinen Molekülen bis hin zu Biooligomeren, um die richtigen Lösungen für diagnostische Fragestellungen und darüber hinaus zu finden. Wir entwerfen maßgeschneiderte Moleküle und entwickeln Labormethoden, um unseren Produkten einen Wettbewerbsvorteil zu verschaffen.

Deine Verantwortlichkeiten

• Du führst chemische Synthesen durch, um komplexe Molekülstrukturen zu erstellen – besonders in den Bereichen Small Molecules, Metallkomplexe und Farbstoffchemie.
• Du stellst Moleküle her, isolierst, reinigst (vor allem mit RP-HPLC), charakterisierst und bewertest sie funktional.
• Du nutzt anspruchsvolle analytische Methoden (z. B. HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, NMR) zur Qualitätskontrolle und Prozessüberwachung.
• Du optimierst und skalierst Syntheseprozesse für den Produktionsübergang.
• Du sorgst für die Einhaltung von Arbeitssicherheits-, Umwelt- und Qualitätsstandards.
• Du übernimmst allgemeine Laboraufgaben wie Gerätewartung und dokumentierst deine Arbeit klar und verständlich auf Deutsch und Englisch.
• Du pflegst Kontakte innerhalb und außerhalb des Teams und förderst die Zusammenarbeit, um optimale Ergebnisse zu erzielen.

Wer bist Du

• Du bringst eine chemisch-technische Ausbildung mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung oder ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Master Chemie) mit.
• Du hast tiefgehende, mehrjährige Erfahrung in präparativer organischer Synthese und analytischer Chemie.
• Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse in analytischen Methoden wie HPLC, HPLC-MS, NMR, DC und UV-Vis.
• Du hast idealerweise Erfahrung in mehrstufiger Synthese, mit stabilen isotopenmarkierten Molekülen sowie in Metallkomplex- und Farbstoffchemie.
• Du bringst sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse mit.

Diese Position ist befristet auf 2 Jahre.

We create chemistry! Based on modern analytical methods and synthesis procedures we design and develop a great variety of chemical assay components for Dia and Pharma. With our domain knowledge and our wide spectrum of methods, we also accompany the whole lifecycle of active diagnostics ingredients. We provide in “Chemistry Technologies” a full spectrum of chemical technologies from small molecules to biooligomers and polymers to find the right solutions for diagnostic questions and beyond. We design tailor-made molecules and develop lab scale procedures to provide a competitive advantage for our products.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You carry out chemical syntheses to create complex molecular structures – particularly in the areas of small molecules, metal complexes, and dye chemistry.
• You produce molecules, isolate, purify (primarily using RP-HPLC), characterize, and evaluate them functionally.
• You use advanced analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, NMR) for quality control and process monitoring.
• You optimize and scale synthesis processes for the transition to production.
• You ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• You handle general laboratory tasks, such as equipment maintenance, and document your work clearly and comprehensively in German and English.
• You maintain contacts within and outside the team and foster collaboration to achieve optimal results.

Who you are

• You have a chemical-technical education with relevant professional experience or a completed university degree (Master's in Chemistry).
• You possess extensive, multi-year experience in preparative organic synthesis and analytical chemistry.
• You have in-depth knowledge of analytical methods such as HPLC, HPLC-MS, NMR, TLC, and UV-Vis.
• Ideally, you have experience in multi-step synthesis, working with stable isotope-labeled molecules, as well as in metal complex and dye chemistry.
• You have excellent comunication in both German and English.

This position is limited to 2 years.
