For our client – an internationally operating company in the energy and infrastructure sector – we are seeking a Manager Strategic Intelligence (f/m/d) to strengthen the central strategic intelligence function.
In this key role, you will be responsible for analyzing external market, regulatory, and competitive developments relevant to multiple entities within the group and for translating complex signals into clear, actionable insights. Your work will directly support senior leadership in shaping strategic direction and making informed decisions at the highest level.
Deliver actionable strategic insights and recommendations to senior executives, including top management, based on in-depth analysis of energy markets, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments.
Support key strategic decisions across business development, risk management, and corporate positioning on critical energy-related topics.
Oversee, challenge, and integrate insights from external intelligence and analysis providers to ensure consistently high analytical quality.
Lead complex, high-impact projects, including managing external consultants and taking ownership of content development aligned with strategic objectives.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration across different business areas.
Collaborative, results-driven professional with strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
Proactive team player with experience leading and motivating project teams in a functional or matrix environment.
University degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Solid expertise in energy market analysis, competitive intelligence, and energy policy evaluation.
Background in consulting or intelligence roles; experience with electricity market modeling is an advantage but not mandatory.
Well-established professional network within the energy sector.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; fluency in English is required, German language skills are a plus.
