The Manager, Munich COE Training for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading a diverse training and development organization in Europe, deploying best-in-class technical training programs to internal associates and occasional customers.

This position is part of the Global Service organization and will be located onsite in Munich. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Professional Development team and report to the Director of Global Service Learning Products responsible for building a Service Learning Culture – creating synergy across all regions to support the needs of customers and regional service teams. Responsibilities
  • Deploy best-in-class service and customer technical training programs for Beckman Coulter’s diverse global audience by leading the Munich training team
  • Design and implement comprehensive training strategy to enable successful new product release and drive OTD of training related projects and curriculums
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, leading and mentoring a team of learning and development professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance and innovative environment
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through metrics, objective evidence and feedback, and apply DBS tools and techniques to enhance these programs
  • Build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify and analyze training needs, align on optimal approach and execute training programs
  • Engage global regional training centers to share best practices, ensure training materials, processes and procedures are aligned and current, and assist with training documentation record tracking compliance
  • Supervise the daily business activities, setting team priorities, ensuring task completion and coordinate work activities
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, organizational interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous experience leading a team of professional associates
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing, developing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds; able to lead cross-functional global business teams
  • Ability to travel to domestically and internationally on occasion
Preferred experience
  • Experience in medical device or clinical laboratory with technical aptitude to comprehend scientific and technical content
  • Experience with Knowledge Connection, Master Control and/or Learning Management System
