Position Title: Manager – Healthcare Consulting

About: A specialist healthcare consultancy supporting hospitals, healthcare providers, and healthcare systems across Europe in solving complex strategic, operational, and digital transformation challenges. We are supporting the firm to expand its consulting leadership team to deliver high-impact hospital and digital healthcare transformation projects.

Role Overview

The Manager – Healthcare Consulting will act as a key project leader, working directly with hospital boards, medical directors, CIOs, and senior operational leaders. This is a client-facing leadership role, combining hands-on project delivery with team management and strategic problem-solving. The role focuses particularly on hospital transformation and digital healthcare initiatives and offers strong exposure to senior decision-makers across the German healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver consulting projects for hospitals and healthcare providers
• Structure complex strategic, operational, and digital challenges into clear, actionable solutions
• Manage, coach, and develop consulting teams across multiple project workstreams
• Own client relationships at senior management and C-suite level
• Drive hospital digitalisation initiatives, including digital workflows, IT-enabled care pathways, and data-driven performance management
• Deliver hospital strategy, restructuring, and turnaround programs
• Lead process optimisation, productivity improvement, and capacity management initiatives
• Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and client pitches
• Ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget project delivery

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in management consulting, ideally with a focus on healthcare
• Strong project experience with hospitals or healthcare providers
• Solid understanding of healthcare operations, hospital economics, or healthcare systems
• Exposure to digital or IT-enabled healthcare transformation is highly desirable
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Medicine, Health Economics, or a related field
• Structured, analytical thinker, comfortable working with data and senior stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and delivery focus
• Willingness to travel across Germany and occasionally internationally
• Fluent German and English
