QuantumDiamonds is building the world’s first commercial quantum sensing tools for chip failure analysis. As a Physics Lab Technician, you’ll support our hardware and R&D teams in day-to-day lab operations, enabling the assembly, testing, and characterization of cutting-edge quantum sensing systems.
You’ll work hands-on with experimental setups involving lasers, optics, RF components, and diamond quantum sensors — ensuring precision, cleanliness, and reproducibility in every step. Your work helps turn prototypes into industrial-grade tools that redefine what’s possible in semiconductor testing.
What is expected of you
- Technical degree (e.g., Physics Lab Technician, CTA/PTA, Mechatronics Technician) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with optics, lasers or chemistry is a strong plus
- Familiarity with laboratory measurement instruments and tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
- Hands-on mindset with high attention to detail and cleanliness
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic R&D environment
- Fluent in English

What will you do
- Manage and plan the production and testing of our diamond quantum sensors
- Support the setup, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment (optical tables, lasers, microscopes, RF electronics, etc.)
- Assist in assembling and testing opto-electronic and mechanical components used in our sensor heads and systems
- Prepare and execute measurement routines (e.g., fluorescence imaging, magnetic field scans) in collaboration with physicists and engineers
- Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and organization — including inventory management and procurement of supplies
- Maintain detailed experimental documentation and support quality assurance processes
- Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement of lab procedures
