Responsibilities
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results to report defects or issues on bench or in vehicle.
  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce and debug issues found during testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system testing strategies align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Support EU-NCAP (pre-) testing.
  • Conduct real vehicle tests of Driver Assistance Systems with appropriate validation tools.
  • Support and execute proofing-ground tests.
  • Support and drive development work at Tier-1 level.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Controls Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics, steering control functions and experience tuning vehicle control systems.
  • Hands-on mechanical ability / understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Analytical skills to prepare prototype vehicles for testing.
  • Some travel domestically and internationally should be expected.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds; Driving license class B.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is a plus.
