Introduction

A growing Japanese car-related company based in Germany is expanding its international operations into European markets. They are seeking a passionate German & English-speaking Sales Representative (Key Account Manager) to join their busy, expanding team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Core Duties
  1. Project management of ongoing projects with key customers
  2. Follow-up on existing customer inquiries
  3. Follow-up on new customer inquiries
  4. Regular customer visits to discuss ongoing projects or promote new opportunities
  5. Market, technology, and competitor analysis
  6. Monitoring of project and sales status
  7. Planning sales promotion activities
  8. Handling operational issues like delivery problems or claims
  9. Reporting sales and project status to Japan-based departments
Ideal Candidate
  • Business-level fluency in German and English (speaking & writing)
  • Japanese language skills are a bonus but not essential
  • IT skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
  • Experience in electronics, electronic components, or similar industries
  • Experience with connector products is advantageous but not essential
  • Marketing knowledge: advertising, result analysis
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 documentation management
  • Some understanding of Japanese culture and language is beneficial
