Overview

NTT DATA is looking for an IT Support Analyst (f/m/d) onsite in Munich-Obersendling for our growing team in Germany. The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing exceptional field service support to our clients, with strong written and oral communication and thorough problem documentation. The role includes troubleshooting and configuring Windows and iOS devices for end users, and the ability to lift/move/set up computer equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop and laptop support for Windows & Mac systems
  • Assist users in solving IT problems using available hardware and software tools
  • Support, install, and maintain local area networks, operating systems, software, and related IT peripherals
  • Install and support hardware and software components for user groups, perform preventive maintenance, and test equipment
  • Evaluate system configuration and software to ensure effective use of hardware resources
  • Provide positive customer experiences when working with users
  • Use ServiceNow ticketing system daily to triage tickets, escalations, issues, etc.
Technical Skills
  • Experience troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading in a Windows 7/Windows 10 enterprise environment; Mac OSX experience is a plus
  • New system deployment (setup, imaging, software installation, data migration)
  • Resolve hardware driver conflicts, user profile issues, and OS errors (Mac OSX and Windows 7/10)
  • Symantec, SCCM, and BitLocker encryption troubleshooting
  • Printer configurations (local and networked)
  • Software installations; conference/meeting support and troubleshooting of client-approved meeting software
  • Remote access support
  • Mobile device configuration and deployment (iOS/Android)
  • Knowledge Base Article management: proofreading, revision requests, and content comprehension accountability
  • Process security requests involving malware and vulnerability investigations
  • Other IT service-desk tasks as needed within contract scope
  • Fluent German and English required (main working language: German)
Education
  • Associate’s Degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Working knowledge of basic hardware and software products and diagnostic/problem solving
  • Ideally 2–3 years of IT support experience
Work Hours and Location

Monday–Friday (daytime) on client site in Munich-Obersendling.
