WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Conception of IT solutions and their implementation (including acceptance) in the assigned focus area, often taking into account customer project-specific requirements
• Focus at launch on Atlassian: Jira and Confluence
• Applications provided by the central IT
• Create standardised concepts for usage
• Ensure functionality of all tools and systems within the area of responsibility
• Act as interface between committees, key users and central IT
• Needs assessment and advice for departments and projects including requirements gathering, creation of use cases, preparation of decision templates, needs‑based conception of individual solutions when necessary, creation of usage concepts, and creation of automations
• Market analysis and observation of innovative topics; evaluate extensions and new features to simplify user experience and support future‑oriented trends
• Identify new features and solutions in tools that improve usability or meet new requirements; advise on selection and use of various tools, features and possible engineering application uses
• Conduct training courses and workshops for users and key users
• Independently handle support requests from employees, customers and developers; support projects and departments in the applications; set up structures for projects
• Cooperate closely with internal departments to identify requirements and develop solution concepts; participate in IT committees and relevant meetings; review and evaluate new requirements for feasibility and develop concepts for implementation
• Implement assigned work packages within the scope of IT projects, including system maintenance and operational implementation in coordination with the responsible project manager
• Support creation of process descriptions and documentation; create documentation for usage concepts, functions, and how‑to guides

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU

• Completed bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent training with several years of professional experience
• Special training in the relevant focus area (infrastructure/applications)
• Good written and spoken English and German skills
• Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience working with specialist departments and external service providers
• Many years of professional experience in consulting and application management or comparable roles
• Independent and structured working style, entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to travel
• Communication and teamwork skills along with strong analytical skills
• Strong presentation skills and confident demeanor
