A major airport authority in Rheinland-Pfalz is seeking an IT Asset Officer. The successful candidate will manage the inventory of IT equipment and software licences while ensuring compliance and providing first-level user support. Candidates must have a BAC+2 diploma or equivalent experience, along with 3 years in a similar IT role. Proficiency in French and operational English is essential. The position demands proactive IT process improvement and offers opportunities for participation in inclusion initiatives.

Today, we are currently recruiting an IT Asset Officer.
Manage the complete inventory of IT equipment (workstations, peripherals, telephones, servers, etc.) and software licences.
Be responsible for tracking the life cycle of assets (acquisition, deployment, maintenance, replacement, retirement).
Ensure compliance with licences and maintenance contracts.
Produce regular reports on the status and use of IT assets.
Participate in budget planning for asset renewal and optimisation.
Ensure the safe decommissioning and disposal of equipment, in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Provide first‑level support to users (hardware, software, access and network incidents).
Record, classify, prioritise and track tickets in the incident management tool.
Diagnose and resolve common technical issues, and escalates them to higher‑level teams.
Ensure the installation and configuration of equipment and software for new users.
Contribute to the drafting and updating of procedures and user guides.
Maintain a high level of user satisfaction by ensuring fast, high‑quality service.
Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project, for people with invisible disabilities).
Participating in the integration of new employees
Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior
Higher education diploma (BAC+2) or equivalent experience
3 years of experience in a similar role or in the IT domain.
Mandatory:
Microsoft Office suite
French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
English: operational level in the business (B1 minimum)
Good knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing tools.
Proactive approach to improving IT processes and tools.
Valid permanent B driving licence
