About usIn this role, you will take ownership of the leadership and technical direction of an electronic IC development group. You will work closely with company leadership while guiding a team of engineers through the full product life cycle — from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and organisational leadership for an IC design and layout engineering team.
• Manage, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Translate market and customer requirements into robust technical specifications.
• Drive alignment on design flows, tools, and best practices across the organisation.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery against technical targets, cost constraints, and schedules.
• Act as a key technical contact for customers and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading expert-level engineering teams.
• Hands‑on expertise in RF integrated circuit design, verification, and characterisation.
• Deep familiarity with advanced semiconductor technologies and modern EDA toolchains.
• Knowledge of optical or electro‑optical transceiver systems and markets.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
• Clear and confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
