Our client is a leading manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe. As part of their ongoing commitment to operational excellence and talent development, they are now looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead all HR functions at their production facility in Tarnów, Poland. This is a strategic role reporting to both the General Manager of the plant and the HR Director and will serve as a key liaison with regional headquarters in the Europe division.

What is the role?

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for production, engineering, and support roles, from job design to onboarding.
• Drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, appraisals, feedback, and employee development plans.
• Design and manage training programmes to ensure compliance and upskilling across all levels.
• Handle employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, counselling, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure full compliance with Polish labour law and internal company policies.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics, providing insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Manage the HR budget across staffing, training, employee engagement, and benefits.
• Champion internal communication and company culture initiatives to enhance workforce engagement.
• Act as the main HR interface between the Tarnów plant and Europe regional headquarters.

Candidate profile :

You’ll be a confident HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating high-impact people strategies in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring :

• Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s degree advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ HR experience within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Solid understanding of Polish labour legislation and HR compliance.
• Proven expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, training, and employee relations.
• Fluent in Polish and English (C1 level or above).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Comfortable working in a matrixed, international organisation.
• Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office; SAP HR experience is a plus.
