Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Housekeeping/Laundry Manager to oversee our housekeeping and laundry operations. The successful candidate will ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained, contributing to the overall well-being of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments.
  • Ensure that all areas of the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and laundry, are clean and well-maintained.
  • Train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies for housekeeping and laundry needs.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and laundry procedures.
  • Handle and resolve any issues or complaints related to housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high standard of service for residents.
Qualifications
  • Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry management, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
