Who will you be joining?

Allianz is a world-leading life insurer in the savings and investments space, writing over EUR 70bn a year in premiums and managing nearly EUR 800bn in assets across multiple markets. You will join the Global Center of Competence Life (GCL) at Allianz SE, the holding company and headquarters of the Allianz group. GCL shapes and governs the execution of our life insurance strategy and works closely with operating entities to improve products, pricing, distribution, and project implementation.

How can you make an impact?

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Shaping the growth of Allianz's wealth management business in life insurance by leveraging our leadership in life insurance savings and asset management capabilities.
  2. Identifying product-related growth opportunities in wealth management, including general account savings, estate planning, hybrid or unit-linked investment products, and discretionary portfolios.
  3. Validating and transforming opportunities into viable product concepts, adapting to local regulations and preferences, and aligning with Allianz's strategy and risk framework.
  4. Developing go-to-market plans and business cases for high-potential concepts with local teams, securing stakeholder buy-in for implementation.
  5. Monitoring market innovations and incorporating insights to foster new ideas within our business units.
  6. Tracking sales and profitability of existing wealth management products to ensure alignment with business plans.
What are you made of?

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in product, sales, or business development roles within wealth management, life insurance, or HNW brokerage, with relevant academic background.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management products in life insurance, including fiscal and regulatory aspects.
  • Knowledge of asset management and private banking solutions is a plus.
  • Financial acumen regarding life insurance products and collaboration with actuarial teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and project-based working ability.
  • Fluency in English and another major European language (French or Italian preferred).
  • Experience with ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions.
  • Previous experience in related functions (sales, operations, claims, underwriting, etc.) is advantageous.
