Head of Win New Client - Issuing Business

The Opportunity: Lead Our German Market Expansion

GERMAN SPEAKING ROLE

At Nexi, we are shaping the future of digital payments in Europe. As a Head of Win New Client on Issuing business, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of one of our most strategic and high-impact initiatives: the launch of Payment as a Service (PaaS) into the German issuing market.

This is not just another product, it is a fully managed card solution that allows banks, financial institutions and Corporate to offer a seamless card issuing experience - fast, scalable, and fully compliant. It’s a game-changer for the market - and you’ll be right at the center of its success.

In addition you will work in a strong and motivated International and multiculture team.

About your future role:

You will be responsible for introducing PaaS to the German market, being responsible for the strategic development of the DACH market in line with our company goals, you’ll build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and position Nexi as the trusted partner for card issuing.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the company’s commercial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and oversee market expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executives to shape long-term vision and direction.
  • Sales Management: Lead the WNC sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and optimize sales processes.
  • Develop pricing strategies and sales incentive programs.
  • Lead the sales organization to achieve revenue targets, managing and developing a high-performing team
  • Customer Experience & Retention: Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and relationship management with new clients and partners.
  • Revenue Growth & Profitability: Drive top-line revenue growth while maintaining or improving profit margins.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, finance, operations, and HR to ensure commercial goals are supported across the organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, branding, and communication to have same strategic view and execution in the Region
  • Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives.
  • Analyze Dach market trends and customer insights to guide marketing initiatives in the Region
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Your Background
  • 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in payments, banking, or financial services
  • Proven track record in new customer acquisition and managing full sales cycles
  • Experience with CaaS, PaaS, or fintech platforms is a strong plus
  • Skilled in using CRM tools and digital sales methodologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Native-level German, and fluent in English
