Qualifikationen

Head of Sales - Oscar Mobility Group

Oscar is one of Europe’s fastest-growing car rental companies, operating over 500 locations across Europe and the United States. Currently, we are searching for a Head of Sales to lead, structure, and elevate our global sales operations. This is not about hitting numbers for the sake of numbers. It is about leading with intention, creating scalable systems, and building a team that thrives on clarity, consistency, and results.

You will lead sales operations across Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and the US, aligning local efforts with a cohesive global strategy. This leadership role requires sharp analytical thinking, process-oriented strategies, and the ability to inspire an international team, with regular travel to our key offices in Europe and the United States. In this role, you will directly report to the CEO.

What will you do?

This is not a checklist role; it is about creating meaningful, measurable impact. Your responsibilities include :

Sales strategy :
  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy that translates into actionable plans for regional teams.
  • Align sales objectives with the company’s broader goals, creating understanding between local efforts and global vision.
Leadership :
  • Build, mentor, and align sales teams across regions, ensuring cohesion and clarity.
  • Create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, fostering collaboration internationally.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for both non-leadership and mid-leadership roles within the sales department.
Operations :
  • Structure and optimize sales processes—streamline workflows, scalable tools, and systems that empower teams.
  • Monitor and act on KPIs that matter, including revenue growth, conversion rates, and team productivity.
  • Oversee key account relationships globally, ensuring consistent value delivery and advising local teams on client management.
Market analysis :
  • Keep a sharp eye on industry trends, competition, and untapped opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and execute expansion plans for both new and existing markets.
Brand visibility :
  • Partner with marketing and operations to ensure alignment in campaigns, capabilities, and execution.
  • Represent Oscar at industry events, building the brand and fostering valuable partnerships.
Network management :
  • Expand and strengthen Oscar’s partner network, ensuring new agreements align with growth goals and current partners remain engaged and satisfied.
What do you bring to the table?
  • Experience : At least 5 years in a senior sales role, with a track record of growing revenue and driving results. Preferably, you have worked in a fast-paced or scale-up environment.
  • Leadership skills : At least 2 years managing international teams, with a demonstrated ability to build high-performing, collaborative groups.
  • Strategic thinking : You know how to connect dots across markets, regions, and departments, creating a unified strategy that delivers.
  • Process mindset : You are obsessed with efficiency and clarity, turning chaos into order through systems, workflows, and tools.
  • Client focus : You understand the value of strong relationships, and you know how to build, maintain, and grow key accounts and partnerships.
  • Market intelligence : You stay ahead of trends, adapting quickly to changing dynamics and identifying opportunities others might miss.
  • Language skills : Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German, Danish, Dutch, or Spanish is a big plus.
  • Nice to have : Experience with CRM / Salesforce.
