We’re looking for a Head of Payment Operations (India) to join the Paycord team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader capable of making daily decisions, diving deep into detail, while keeping the broader business strategy in mind and ensuring seamless performance across all functions.

You would be running tasks such as:

Operational Management
  • Implementing business and operational strategies to ensure stable operations.
  • Ensuring smooth alignment between commercial and operational units within the department.
  • Strategic alignment: ability to connect day-to-day operations with the company’s long-term goals, translating business priorities into clear operational plans.
  • Process control & optimization: overseeing daily operations with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and productivity improvement.
  • Data-driven decision-making: leveraging analytics and performance metrics to guide actions and improvements.
Cross-functional collaboration with other departments
  • Accountability for operational metrics: defining, monitoring, and continuously improving KPIs that directly impact business performance.
Commercial Activities
  • Driving revenue growth and profitability in the region.
Process Optimization
  • Continuously analyzing and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implementing automation and new tools to optimize team performance.
Required skills and expertise:
  • 5+ years of experience in FinTech, E-commerce, or Payments.
  • 2+ years in senior leadership roles managing multiple teams.
  • Experience working with the Indian market would be a strong benefit.
  • Proven experience in managing operational teams.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem.
  • Excellent knowledge of payment metrics.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken).
