Your tasks:

• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS) for the parent company in Japan
• Point of contact for subsidiaries in matters of controlling, finance, and corporate law-related issues
• Development of group-wide controlling tools in the areas of planning & forecasting, reporting, and cost management
• Assumption of the expert role for SAP-CO
• Participation in the development and implementation of accounting and controlling standards as well as reporting structures
• Independent management of projects in the controlling or group environment, both domestically and internationally

Our expectation:

• A degree in business administration with a focus on controlling, finance and accounting, or business informatics
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position or comparable field
• In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) as well as German GAAP (HGB)
• Proficient use of SAP FI/CO and good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• A structured, goal-oriented, and self-reliant working style
• Strong team and communication skills
• Experience with consolidation and management reporting software (e.g., IDL Konsis, SAP BPC) is desirable
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
