The role

We are looking for a Graduate Operations Analyst - Taxes who recently graduated from university to help us build and maintain Taxation Operations processes, being responsible for ensuring the operations are run effectively and also ensuring a seamless customer experience to users.

You will be supporting the analysts and senior analysts in the team in their routine activities and get to learn about a range of topics in the investment journey: calculations of taxes and refunds, issuance of reports to authorities, different regulations about investment taxation, and you will be helping solve the most complex cases and challenges in these topics.

Responsibilities

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Trading Operations Analysts to join our team and help us build and maintain Trading Operations processes, ensuring that operations around trading are run effectively and efficiently to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities cover a wide range of topics in the trading journey: from assisting with complex cases to maintaining the instruments customers can trade, and ensuring a constant feedback loop between the customer support and development teams.

What you’ll do

• Execute and monitor essential daily and event-driven operational processes related to trading and taxation operations
• Manage instruments in the app in collaboration with the Corporate Actions and Trading teams
• Collaborate with the Product and the Customer Service teams to improve features in the app
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all standard operating procedures SOPs and control frameworks
• Work towards becoming the internal subject matter expert for complex operational and instruments availability queries escalated by frontline teams
• Monitor internal systems to optimise operational efficiency and address any potential disruptions promptly
• Contribute to business development projects under the guidance of senior team members

What you need to have

• Recently completed (or about to complete) an Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions
• Experience with process design and process management
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

• Experience with Trading and Instruments management
• Knowledge of the German language (fluent or C1)
• Knowledge of SQL or Python
