Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global category strategies for IT spend across all business units.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance reviews, and innovation partnerships.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align procurement objectives with business goals.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and compliance across the IT category.
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and support digital transformation efforts.
- Ensure procurement processes and policies are adhered to globally.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT procurement or category management in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of IT markets, technologies, and supplier ecosystems.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute complex sourcing initiatives.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or medical devices is a plus.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field; Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS) preferred.
