Job Summary

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for independently delivering the full scope of Finance Manager responsibilities in Germany. This role ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and robust financial planning while acting as a trusted business partner to local and regional leadership. The position works closely with the company’s Shared Services Center (SSC) in Manila and external accounting partners to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all financial operations in Germany, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • Act as the primary finance point of contact for Germany, ensuring alignment with corporate financial strategy and adherence to local regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the SSC in Manila to ensure accurate and timely transactional processing, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors to ensure compliance with German statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial insights, analyses, and recommendations to management to support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and harmonization of financial practices in line with group standards.
  • Support, guide, and mentor local stakeholders and finance‑related interfaces, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Profile & Other Information
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, ideally within a multinational or multi‑country environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and German financial, tax, and statutory regulations.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage complex financial operations with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with shared service centers and external accounting providers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong command of both German and English (written and spoken) is required.
