A leading anime media company seeks a German Editor to oversee its German newsroom operations. The role involves daily reporting, translating news from Japan, and writing articles relevant to the German anime market. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of the anime industry, 3+ years of journalism experience, and must be fluent in both German and English. Experience with CMS platforms is preferred, and knowledge of Japanese is a plus. This position supports a hybrid work model.

In the role of German Editor, Crunchyroll News, you will report to the Sr. Editor, EMEA, under the direction of the Global News Marketing Manager.

The German Editor, Crunchyroll News is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of our German newsroom, covering breaking news stories out of Japan, as well as writing general news and features covering the German anime and manga market. The German Editor will work closely with the Sr. Editor, EMEA and the Global News Marketing Manager to ensure publication of articles, as well as further coordination on Crunchyroll announcements respective to German‑speaking regions.
