Purpose of the role :
As a Business Developer Representative, you will identify sales opportunities, profile prospective customers, discover their needs, and drive new business through outbound campaigns.
You will help businesses collaborate better, innovate, and grow. As part of the Business Development team, you will be the first contact for many businesses, engaging proactively to generate enthusiasm, qualify their needs, and guide them toward suitable solutions and sales paths.
You will work towards individual targets within a team focused on expanding our customer base across EMEA. The role involves primarily outbound calls in a phone-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly SQO (Sales Qualified Opportunity) quotas and meet daily/weekly activity targets.
- Manage a portfolio to identify high-potential prospects.
- Educate customers about our offerings.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails, including cold calling, engaging with decision-makers, building rapport, and assessing needs.
- Understand pain points, gather requirements, and connect business needs with cloud solutions, emphasizing solution-selling and value creation.
- Maintain accurate prospect and customer data in Salesforce.com, managing leads, contacts, and opportunities.
- Work towards team and individual KPIs such as productivity, conversion rates, and pipeline growth.
- Document customer interactions thoroughly to ensure clarity and continuity for all stakeholders.
Requirements
- BA / BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Native German speaker.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Experience in outbound B2B sales or business development, preferably in IT.
- Understanding of cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong business acumen to align solutions with client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism.
- Comfortable working against quotas in a phone-based environment.
- Basic IT skills for efficient computer use.
- At least 1 year of IT outbound sales experience with strong sales skills.
- Experience with cold calling and managing large accounts.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Ability to identify decision-makers and relevant stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, confident, and persistent.
- Knowledge of the local market and business environment.
- Full-time position (39h/week, Monday to Friday).

- Salary: €25,440 gross/year + up to €6,360 bonus.
