We’re looking for a General Manager, Europe to ignite our next stage of growth and elevate Fieldpiece’s footprint across the region. In this role, you’ll shape the commercial vision, build the operational engine, and scale the organization needed to take Europe from a fast‑paced start‑up environment to a high‑performing, mature business that mirrors our U.S. success—while honoring the unique nuances of each European market.

Since launching in Europe in 2017, we’ve grown to a team spread across seven countries. Now we’re ready for the next leap—and you’ll be the one leading it.

We’re seeking a leader who knows how to grow technical product companies through distribution, brings sharp business acumen and strategic clarity, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’re fluent in building relationships, developing people, and driving results. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Danaher Business System is a strong advantage, giving you the tools to bring structure and discipline to a rapidly expanding and highly innovative environment. Travel is expected up to 40%.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute a long‑term strategy to drive sustainable double‑digit revenue growth.
  • Lead sales planning and marketing strategy, ensuring strong brand presence and profitable expansion.
  • Drive sales performance in Europe, setting clear goals and ensuring accountability.
  • Optimize logistics and repair operations to support growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and inspire a high‑performing commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with global leadership to align strategy, investments, and market priorities.
  • Manage P&L, budgets, and forecasting, ensuring visibility and strong operational discipline.
  • Strengthen organizational capability — hire and develop talent that supports long‑term success.
  • Represent Fieldpiece across the industry as a credible, charismatic leader and brand ambassador.
  • Lead and manage a team of ~5 leaders and a broader team of ~25 employees (with expected future growth). Full responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
  • Create a high-performance culture built on clarity, transparency, trust, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • 15+ years in B2B commercial leadership, ideally within instrumentation, industrial tools, or technical equipment.
  • 5+ years leading high‑performance sales teams with above‑market results.
  • Proven track record building and scaling commercial organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on execution.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
  • Results‑driven mindset with the ability to lead through ambiguity and change.
  • Experience in process‑driven, performance‑oriented environments (Lean/Six Sigma exposure a plus).
  • High customer obsession and a sense of urgency in delivering top‑tier service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort presenting to executive audiences.
  • Charismatic presence and willingness to serve as a spokesperson for the Fieldpiece brand.
