We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) to become part of our team onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. You will build reliable backend services and intuitive user interfaces, ensure smooth integrations through well‑structured APIs, and contribute to high‑quality architectural decisions. In this role, you will combine hands‑on coding with problem‑solving, helping shape SCAYLE Payments’ products to deliver secure and seamless e‑commerce payment experiences.

What you will do

• Build internal & external RESTful API as well as Background Jobs in a high‑scaling architecture
• Engage in decisions ranging from Design to application architecture together with the Lead Engineer and explore new technologies
• Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s needs
• Work with continuous Deployments (Gitlab Pipelines, AWS Elastic Container Service) and monitor applications with industry‑standard tools (Datadog)

Who you are

• Solid coding skills in PHP 8 (Symfony) (3-5 years of experience)
• Solid knowledge of the Vue 3 Framework
• Solid background in building complex and beautiful products which provide an excellent user experience
• Good technical understanding of RESTful API’s
• Experience working with AWS, Git, RDBMS,
• Passionate about writing well‑structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Ready to work in an English‑speaking environment

Nice to have

• Experience in Tailwind CSS
• Experience in creating Integration tests
