At Cyberus Technology were developing secure high-performance virtualization technology in Rust. Were looking for a motivated Software Engineer to extend our Hypervisor stack design new virtualization features and contribute to the reliability and maintainability of our cloud infrastructure.

Tasks

• Develop and extend the Cyberus Hypervisor in Rust with a focus on performance security and reliability.
• Design and implement new virtualization features.
• Optimize and maintain integration with Linux / KVM and the Cloud Hypervisor upstream.
• Contribute to stability and maintainability improvements for our upcoming Long-Term Support offering.
• Debug and analyze low-level system behavior in complex cloud environments.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Rust.
• Solid understanding of virtualization concepts.
• Experience with Linux systems programming (KVM libvirt virtio).
• Familiarity with Cloud Hypervisor is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with low-level tools.
• A structured and security-conscious approach to problem solving.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required.
