Purpose of the role

As a key member of the Software Development Team, we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Full‑Stack/Front‑End Developer to strengthen our software development team in Germany, driving our work with Jakarta Faces, Spring, Python, and PostgreSQL. Your commitment to further development and your ability to contribute on an equal footing are crucial for positive team dynamics and project success. You will enjoy the full support of the team in all your projects. Together, you will select appropriate solutions for each task.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features: Work on projects to introduce new features and improvements to existing functionalities
• Platform scaling: Support in scaling the platform to meet the requirements to meet the needs of a growing customer base
• Performance optimization: Identification and implementation of optimizations to improve performance and user experience
• Technical implementation: Development of features and functions using Jakarta Faces/EE, Quarkus, Python, PostgreSQL, Keycloak, Gitlab CI, AWS, Ansible, Puppet and many more
• Testing and quality assurance: Conducting tests, troubleshooting and ensuring quality of the software
• Deployment and DevOps: Working with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain the software in the production environment
• UI/UX optimization: Ensuring high user‑friendliness and appealing, designing our products in collaboration with product management
• You know the game and how it's played – as a team. Together we are strong. We are a small development team with flat hierarchies

Key Skills And Experience

• Do you have an IT training/previous education/degree? Something related to IT, business informatics, telecommunications informatics, network technology?
• You have solid or at least initial professional or project experience in software development
• Any experience in a cloud environment is a welcome advantage.
• Are you up for making the big splash with us? Do you enjoy exploring new topics and do you absorb customer and constantly acquire new knowledge?
• Your language skills: Very good knowledge of German (level C2 (CEF)), as well as good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Do you know the ABCs of telecommunications? (WAN, LAN, VPN and IP)
• Are you always up for a laugh, aren't daunted by a mountain of work, and do you intend to stay with us long
