Overview

Our success relies on the expertise and dedication of our teams and right now, we’re looking for an Interim Team Lead – Data Analytics & AI for a 3–4 month assignment (16–24 hours per week) to provide structure, clarity, and continuity while we shape the future of our data leadership.

In this role, you’ll focus on day-to-day team coordination: leading sprints, grooming tickets, and making sure projects stay on track. You’ll act as the bridge between the team and stakeholders, ensuring priorities are clear and deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

• Sprint & Backlog Management: Lead sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. Keep tickets well-defined and ensure the team is focused on delivering the right priorities.
• Team Coordination: Provide day-to-day guidance for data scientists, analysts, and engineers. Support them in removing blockers, clarifying tasks, and staying aligned on goals.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the main contact point for stakeholders, ensuring requests are well-scoped, priorities are agreed, and deliverables are communicated clearly.
• Execution Support: Help drive delivery of analytics reports, dashboards, and models in collaboration with the team. Ensure outputs are actionable and useful for business partners.
• Process Improvement: Introduce and refine simple workflows that improve team efficiency — from ticket structure to reporting cadence.
• Bridge Building: Translate technical work into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring visibility of progress and outcomes.

Your treasure of experience

• Experience leading or coordinating data/tech teams in an agile environment (formal management experience not required; strong project/sprint leadership is key).
• Solid understanding of data analytics workflows and/or machine learning projects.
• Familiarity with digital marketing metrics (traffic, conversion, engagement, ROI) and how to translate them into actionable insights.
• Comfortable with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) and backlog management.
• Clear communication skills able to keep both technical and non-technical colleagues aligned.
• Organized, pragmatic, and hands-on, with the ability to keep delivery on track in a fast-moving environment.
