Your tasks

• Independent and responsible handling of financial accounting according to German GAAP (HGB), including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank transactions

• Preparation of payroll accounting and maintenance of employee master data

• Preparation and execution of payment runs

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including reporting and forecasting

• Acting as a contact person for tax advisers, auditors, and authorities

• Optimization of accounting processes and close collaboration with other departments

We are looking for the following skills:

• Completed training as a certified accountant (BilanzbuchhalterIn), tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte(r)), or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/controlling

• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting according to German GAAP (HGB), including the preparation of financial statements

• In-depth knowledge of payroll accounting

• Confident handling of accounting systems (e.g. Datev or similar); experience with tools like Spendesk is a plus

• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills

• A structured, reliable, and independent work style
